IMG_6402Congratulations to 2013 National Sporting Clays Main Event Champion, Bobby Fowler! Now a three time National champion! Can you believe he broke 294 out of 300 targets!

Amazing talents out there and I am proud to be a part of it all!

I started my trip with a  Bang! with a slight shift in plans due to missing my first flight. Yep, missed it out of Jax, even though I was 1 ½ hours early; too much chilling listening to the Saxophonist while sipping Starbucks. I completely underestimated the time to get through security, not taking into consideration the leisure pace of TSA. Although this caused me to miss the Thursday night banquet, I was just glad to arrive safely.

On my first day there, I had a great time hanging at the Team USA booth with Judy and her God-daughter. I barely got a break from chatting as tons of clients came to say hi and wanted to introduce me to their friends and squad mates; as well as prospective clients wanting more information. I was so busy I didn’t even get out on the course to watch the shooters.

By the second day, with the wind picking up we broke down the Team USA booth and I was excited to get out on the field. And with the property being so large, my feet were pleased that a client passed over her golf cart to me for the day. Ear plugs in, I was very excited to have then caught up to some of my favorite people who were still competing away and doing well. Follow that with a private session and a mouth-watering antelope dinner at Antlers Lodge.
Other than being exhausted, I was pumped for the final day. So many great shooters in the final throws where the mental game becomes a make or break! I received many thanks from clients who felt my presence there helped them to be more mindful and deliberate about applying their mental skill sets. Some claimed to have shot better than they ever had! I was very proud!
And, of course, there is no better way to wrap thing up in San Antonio than to head to the River Walk. What a fabulous Mexican meal with great friends/clients on the river at Acenar. Mmmmm, fresh guacamole made table side!

GREAT Trip with GREAT People… Can’t wait for Seminole Cup! Check out my pictures from the trip on my website.

    Hi Dawn,

I really enjoyed getting to visit with you for a few minutes in SA. I was going to tell you something before I left and just plumb let it slip by the wayside, so I thought I would do it here. The new hair cut looks great!

    Dave
