ssbACCEPTANCE of Self

Each month, I will be taking a particular virtue and break it down into small life lessons for you. Implementing these virtues into your life will have an amazing affect on you, your consciousness, your health, your spirituality. This first week, I will be blogging about acceptance. Acceptance is the action or process of being received as adequate or suitable. I’d like to go one step further and say that you have kind of “come to terms” with who you are, what you are, the existence around you, etc. Being able to accept the present moment and have the ability to see the uniqueness in every individual is a very important virtue. I will be blogging about acceptance. This first week will pertain to the relationship with yourself, next: your relationship with others, third: relationship with life, finally: relationship with higher power.

I know a lot of people struggle with the ability to accept oneself. I have had a personal struggle, I have helped clients through a process and even lent my expertise to family members. Here is the one thing that is probably the most important fact throughout the course of acceptance. You must love yourself before you can truly love another. This is so important which is why I chose to start with this one virtue. You have to be healthy mentally (mind), physically (body), and spiritually (soul) before you help others. In order to be present in each moment in life, you must accept and love yourself. Feeling good about yourself, in all aspects of your life, is very important in order to give your best to life. What that means is that if you are not loving yourself NOW, you’re probably unhappy, unhealthy, and bogged-down with all of life’s little peccadilloes. You want success, throughout every facet of your life then it all starts with two small words: accept you.

My intention is to reach out to as many people as possible and to help them figure this “life stuff” out. I want you to be successful, happy, live in joy. I want to see your lives change for the better. During the course of this year, it is my hope that while I share my knowledge with you, that ultimately, you implement these tools, these well-known philosophies into your lives. Who couldn’t use a greater understanding of virtues? Who couldn’t benefit from implementing them?

There are some really great insight in quotes. I like using quotes to get my point across because they help you to understand. The words in some of these quotes are really beneficial to our lives. Being able to take away parts of the quote and actually use them in your lives is really what you want to do. The quote that I have chosen for this weeks lesson is this: “You must love yourself before you love another. By accepting yourself and fully being what you are, your simple presence can make others happy.” I wonder if you haven’t already noticed that at times in your life, when you feel really good about yourself, maybe something you accomplished, or overcame, or maybe your relationship is in harmony…Well, those things shift your energy. You feel positive, you feel love for yourself. Just your presence can make others happy. Have you ever felt that or noticed that? Did you know that smiles are contagious? Well, if we liken your love for yourself to smiles, you can understand the importance of accepting yourself, just as you are; just as you were created to be.

You must love yourself before you love another. Wouldn’t you like to have greater self-acceptance? I don’t know of a single person that would turn that down. Being able to look in the mirror and feel loved by yourself, or even feeling it deep down in the very soul of your being. Acceptance, that self-love is so important to the rest of your life. It is almost like the ultimate fulcrum. If you love yourself, your life will begin to be affected positively.

We all have struggles. We all have trials and challenges. This series, along with the hypnotherapy audios is meant to help you get to the root of some of the road-blocks that you have. In the deeper levels of your mind, you may feel inadequacy, hurt, resentment. Those things can hinder your total self-acceptance. Mental training can help you uncover those things and deal with them. The ultimate goal is to evolve into the human beings that we are meant to be. I hope I have helped you to start moving your thought into a different, more positive direction. If you feel like motivating yourself to change those thought patterns that ultimately control your life. Take the first step into self-actualization, and self-empowerment by accepting yourself. Love yourself. The tools that I offer can help you implement acceptance quickly and efficiently. Live a virtuous life. It all starts with a single step. Thank you for reading.
