Yoga serves many purposes which tie in very nicely to my mental training teachings.
There is no question that yoga helps a person to build strength, and flexibility. It is common to see a person that practices yoga regularly as having a long, lean, toned body.
When I first learned of yoga, I remember thinking “Well, some of those positions don’t look much different than the floor exercises and stretches I had learned in gym class.”
I have come to learn that nothing could be further from the truth.
Yoga has many, many benefits to our mind, body and spiritual lives. The physical benefits are the most obvious, but the benefit of the mind and spirit are profound.
