There’s nothing funny about depression or anxiety, but some sufferers find humor to be a good way of dealing with the daily struggles of living with such mood disorders. British artist Gemma Correll is one of those people, and as you can see below, her illustrators are as funny as they are thought-provoking. Whether she’s highlighting the perils of overthinking, sharing her dread at receiving a phone call, feeling bad for feeling bad, or stressing about not being stressed, the self-proclaimed “infamous anti-socialite and pug lady’s” simple style and witty humor makes us laugh, but she also makes us think.
