How decisive, committed and clear you are when facing any number of situations in life, directly affects how well you perform in those situations. This is also true of your sport performance as well. What you think, perceive, and ultimately believe, all impact how clear you are about what you want to do, how decisive (or indecisive) you are in taking action, and then how committed you will be to that decision. If you are weak in these mental skills, you will struggle not only in your sport performance, but in all areas of your life.
I am offering you some insight that will help you improve these areas, by focusing on a self suggestion from my products. The suggestion is: “I am decisive, committed and clear on every shot in practice and in each round of golf.” However, if it is another sport you practice, like clay shooting, basketball, or even swimming, this suggestion will still work for you. Change up the words to fit your sport.

With the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics well underway, millions of spectators are marveling at the physical skill and talent of the athletes competing in the Games.
But behind these athletes’ physical feats is an arguably even more impressive mental prowess cultivated through years of training the mind to tune out distractions, reduce stress and anxiety and build the focus and stamina they need to achieve optimal performance. In fact, it’s not a stretch to say that great athletes succeed because they know how to stay at the top of their game mentally.
Although I don’t often get the opportunity, I really enjoy talking to children about mindfulness and meditation. Meditation has been proven again and again to improve every facet of your life. But it’s not just for adults. Meditation and mindfulness practices in children have been becoming increasingly popular. One of the reasons is the fact that many pro coaches admit to teaching meditation to their players. But I think another reason is a need for spiritual awareness. Somewhere along the way, we have lost touch with the fact that we are spiritual creatures.

How many times in a conversation about sports have you heard the phrase, “It’s all mental”? Well in one way or another, it’s true. A mind that is not under control is a mind that makes mistakes. Mistakes that could lose a game. Extreme stress causes a wild mind. Stress is a helpful tool when used correctly; when not used correctly, stress can cause you to lose a lot of games.
How many times have we heard things like the quarterback “choked” in the last minute of the game? People under extreme levels of stress do stupid things; it’s not their fault, it’s simply how human beings operate. It’s our nature. Under extreme stress, your heart rate elevates and you began to lose complex motor skills, like throwing a football, or shooting a three-pointer.

The concept of teleportation comes primarily from science fiction literature throughout human history, but things are changing. It’s 2014 and developments in quantum theory and general relativity physics have been successful in exploring the concept of teleportation for quite some time now.
Today, numerous teleportation breakthroughs have been made. One example is the work of Professor Rainer Blatt, at the University of Innsbruck. They were successfully able to perform teleportation on atoms for the first time, their work was published in the journal Nature.(1) They were able to transfer key properties of one particle to another without using any physical link. In this case, teleportation

Rather than dismiss it, we should try to understand the placebo effect and harness it when we can.
For a long time, the placebo effect was held in low regard. If people responded to a suspect treatment, we said it was “just the placebo effect.” The suggestion was that they had been fooled in some way, and their response was inauthentic.
But attitudes are shifting, even in conventional medical circles. Randomized trials, some of them led by researchers at the Harvard-wide Program in Placebo Studies and the Therapeutic Encounter, have deepened the understanding of the placebo effect and its various components. Researchers have also used brain scans and other technologies to show that there may be a physiological explanation for the placebo effect in many
I live on a small island. It seems like every weekend there is a running event for charity going on here. I can’t even recall the last time I saw an event being advertised as “just” a 5K. Not that I am complaining. Quite the contrary. I love to see the hoards of people running for something in which they believe. I really admire endurance athletes. I think endurance runners are some of the most physically fit people around. Seeing masses of healthy people always makes me happy, because those people realize how important it is to take care of their bodies. There is a shortage of healthful people in this world. And although I would like to blame Monsanto (aka Obama’s Food Tzar) and all those evil boxed-food companies, I can’t.

Ten years ago, if you told somebody that human consciousness alone can have a direct effect on our physical world they would probably look at you like you’re crazy. Today, however, is a different story. Within the past few years mainstream science is catching on to the fact that yes, consciousness is correlated and can have a direct effect on what we call our physical material world.
Experiments over the past four decades have investigated whether human intention alone affects the properties of water.(1) This question has been of interest to alternative medicine research, because the human body is made up of approximately 70% water. Interest in this topic has been rekindled recently by multiple researchers suggesting that intentionally influenced water can be detected by examining ice

Remote viewing can be defined in multiple ways. It’s the ability of individuals to describe a remote geographical location up to several hundred thousand kilometres away (even more) from their physical location. Although the concept has been proven, it’s not clear to the mainstream scientific community how it’s achieved. It’s important to note that a lot of the research within these programs remains classified, and the majority of the information we do have today was previously classified(2) only to be approved for release years later. It makes you wonder, what information with regards to the remote viewing phenomenon remains classified?
The best of the best athletes can choke. No matter what sport you play, how many miles you run, how many targets you break, at some point, you may choke. It really does happen to the best of us. The main reason this happens is that you have left a gaping hole in your mental game. Let me be completely honest, even if you work with a mental trainer and sharpen your mental acuity, failure is still an option. Unfortunately, there is no pill you can take to make you perfect. But what you can do to achieve peak performance is learn to use the power of your brain. There are five (mental) keys to achieve peak performance from a mental training standpoint. If you can understand and implement these five (mental) keys, you are well on your way to becoming a more successful athlete.
