Nadim Nadia, one of the best strikers in the soccer world had her share of bitter memories. She spent her early life living in fear. Guns, mass killings, Taliban is what her childhood was made of. The story of how she converted her pain into the power is inspirational. She is an Afghan-born Danish footballer who is a striker in Sky Blue FC.

Nadia was fond of playing football since her early days. So she followed her heart and thought of making a career in soccer. She played for local clubs and worked hard to become a successful player. Her devotion towards football and the tireless effort made her the best.

Her initial years in Denmark were not at all comfortable. Being born in Afghanistan, she faced some legal issues in the foreign land. She had to wait a few years and after turning 18, she applied for citizenship. In 2009, she got to join the Denmark national team, and her soccer journey from there was just splendid! Nadia joined Sky Blue FC in 2014, and the team has signed her for the 2015 season.
